Sataya is a large oval-shaped reef (also known as Dolphin Reef) located southeast of Fury Shoals. The reef features a huge coral lagoon with a resident pod of dolphins. The dive usually begins at the western edge of the reef where divers descend and start exploring the steep wall, keeping the reef on their left. The depth along the wall ranges from 18-22m, lessening to12m at the lagoon’s entrance. The wall is covered in beautiful coral growth with all the associated small-sized marine life. As they go deeper along the wall, divers may encounter sleepy whitetip sharks slowly moving away when divers approach them.
